Mandate

Every move is also an order to your opponent.

  1. Each side starts with eight pieces on its back row. Ink moves first.
  2. Move one piece up to three squares along a row, column or diagonal. Pieces cannot jump.
  3. Landing on an enemy piece captures it.
  4. Your opponent must then move a piece from the row or column you landed on, if one can move.
  5. The first piece to reach the far row wins.

After sixty moves without a capture, the side with more pieces wins. Level is a draw. If you have no legal move, you lose.
